This is my video message to my soul mate, best friend and lover Sarah Afshar.  She got me this amazing Fender Guitar for Valentines Day. I could not be any happier. Sarah, if you are reading this, you complete me in every way possible and I'm blessed, thankful and lucky to have you in my life. Question of the Day: Do you still talk to the Gods n Aliens?

Q: What's up Joe? How are you? I was a fan of the band you were in called Gods and Aliens. I saw you perform at the Deadhorse back in early 2013 shortly before you parted ways with the band. I really love The Calling. It was the best song in the entire play lineup and I really loved the solo you performed in the beginning. You are a phenomenal bass player. I wanted to ask, do you still talk to the band?

First, I want to say thank you. Thank you for the wonderful compliment. One of the reasons I stayed with Gods n Aliens for so long was because of not only the music, but because of the fans and people like you, so your words are appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't talk to the band anymore and haven't talked to them in almost 3 years. I think it's better this way simply because I am working on a new music project right now with my girlfriend Sarah.

Review: StrapSnake Guitar Cotton Guitar Strap

        As an avid musician, I know the importance of having a great and durable guitar strap. It can't be too wide or too thin and be of the right material that is able to withstand the punishment of everyday use. Just recently I got this guitar strap from my girlfriend by surprise and I thought I would do a review on the guitar strap since I didn't review anything that has to do with musical instruments or music. 

       The guitar strap is from a company called StrapSnake and you can find this guitar strap here on amazon for $25.00 but its on sale for $15.88. and they have some other products there as well.

       The guitar strap is all cotton weave that's thick and heavy with extended thick leather ends. The guitar strap adjusts nice and easy too. Also it feels good on the shoulder too with out the feeling of the strap digging in to the shoulder as well.   

       There is no cons to this product as everything is great about this product. 

       I would definitely recommend this to any other musician just beginning and the professional. I will be definitely be using this guitar strap to its fullest!!!!
