Michael Odegard makes hate site about me

Hi readers. I don't really care for drama and honestly, I'm not trying to be dramatic when I say that it has come to my attention that my stalker Michael Odegard from Portland, Oregon has made multiple hate sites about me. Truth be told, I never met this man in my life. All of this started when I politely asked Michael Coleman Odegard to leave Sarah Afshar, my fiance (who was my friend/ex at the time) alone along with her mother. I simply asked him to cut his losses and move on. That is all I asked. I have never met this guy in my life nor have I ever knew anything about him. When I told him to cut his losses and move on he started to attack me online before calling my number and harassing me offline. I have filed numerous police reports on this guy not because I feared him, but because he is unstable and impossible to predict. Not only does he constantly play the victim and damsel in distress by constantly attacking me and spreading lies, but he also engages in psychological manipulation and trolling. If he is trying to get people to believe him and his lies, he would have no problem shooting me and crying victim in the aftermath.

He has came here to my blog delivering the same old death threats and harassing me. He didn't think I would react because truth be told, Michael Odegard from Portland, Oregon is a bully. I only responded back with facts and truth. I don't aknowlege him because he is nothing to me and the only thing that I did was made blog posts here at MY OWN blog and no where else. Recently, Odegard started proving his sociopathic mentality by playing the victim and using his illness to get away with harassing me and other people including my fiance Sarah Afshar and Brian Joseph Mann. Oh and about Brian Joseph Mann, I have never met this guy in my life and yet Odegard has created this warped story that I am somehow conspiring with Brian Mann to stalk him. This is just part of Odegard's sickness and how he is using the victim mentality to get away with harassing innocent people.
Odegard has a thing for calling me a domestic terrorist and so forth. Just recently, Michael Coleman Odegard made 2 more hate blogs about me (even included my name in one of them) and my fiance Sarah Afshar where he labeled me as a Domestic Terrorist and everything. Odegard even threatened me as well. He also went and used our pictures to spread more hate and lies to further his own agenda. I served my country for years and as a result, defended the land of the free and the home of the brave. I have risked my life and spent my time saving lives for over 12 years as a volunteer fireman. I have no desire to engage let alone feed Michael Odegard's dementia, meglamania and cheesy covert intimidation. A psychopathic personality is known to use the internet to consequently manipulate their audience. Having a sufficient level of ruthlessness, they can conceal their agenda by playing the victim which is true in Odegard's case.

You see, a couple of years ago Mike Boudet from the Sword and Scale podcast tried to contact me via Facebook and YouTube. Boudet tried to get an interview with me to hear my side about the whole Michael Odegard thing. I simply left it go because I had better things to worry about other than a stalker and harasser from Portland, whom I never met in my life. in which is all the way across the United States from me. What Mike Boudet did was have Michael Coleman Odegard in the podcast when he did a podcast about Morgan Ingram. This had absolutely no bearing on the subject matter of the podcast, which I thought was very odd. I understand Boudet is obsessed with ratings and is known for guilt tripping, but feeding into a mentally ill man's deception and giving him a platform to spread even more is pretty low. Even for someone like Mike Boudet who has been criticized for being a sensationalist.

Michael Odegard is a true bully and anyone who can think practically and realistically can see exactly what he is doing. He is the one spreading lies about me and Sarah, harassing us and engaging in behavior just for attention. He is using a tactic called traumatic one-trial learning and reversalising intermittent reinforcements by lying about his own personal struggle only to project it onto innocent people. He wants a response from us because he wants you to all believe his multiple stories he's concocted. You don't have to be a psychiatrist let alone have credentials in social science to know that Odegard is engaging in psychopathic character assasination while engaging in psychological manipulation. I've been a volunteer firefighter for over a decade and served in the United States Armed Forces. I have friends who are schizophrenic and bipolar. I have suffered from depression and PTSD. I am not attacking mental illness in anyway. I am simply defending myself and my fiance from Odegard for his anger, hate and rage not to mention the many lies he has spewed and spread about innocent people including myself. Michael Odegard does not scare me neither does his brandishing anger because I am still standing, but I refuse to sit here and allow him to spread untrue lies about me.

Michael Odegard is lying about me and I, Joseph Valo III, will continue to exercise my 1st amendment right of the Constitution, as I have every single right to defend myself. I will continue to tell the truth.

In remembrance of Morgan Ingram

Morgan Ingram was a free spirited young soul who lost her life On December 2nd 2011 due to a stalker. She will be forever remembered as a fun loving, caring, wonderful person who loved to spend time with her friends and family. And loved to travel, go places with her family and just have fun in general. Today marks the 4th year that her life was taken too soon. In fact way too soon. so In this day and every day I would like her family and friends and everyone who knew her remember all the great and wonderful experiences and times that they have shared and how Morgan Ingram positively impacted their lives. Morgan Ingram will always be there with her friends and family watching over them and giving them signs that she is there with them watching over them. 

I would like for every one who reads this blog post please light a candle in remembrance for Morgan Ingram.

Best in Beauty 2015: Men

My girlfriend Sarah Afshar is a beauty writer for Examiner.com. I am very proud of everything she does and I love her so much (and Sarah if you are reading, I love you so much). For Examiner, Sarah created the Best in Beauty Awards and I do believe this is the 2nd year she has done the awards. My stalker from Portland is mentally challenged?

I am getting messages through the roof about Michael Odegard. People are questioning me about the "mentally challenged" man from Portland. First of all, I just wanna say this - Michael Odegard is not mentally challenged. Someone who is mentally challenged has an intellectual disability or trouble adapting to everyday function. Odegard is actually a semi-intelligent guy. I mean, look at what he is doing and he's fooled a lot of people into thinking that me and my girlfriend Sarah Afshar are harassing, stalking and bullying him when he is the one doing it to us. We have ignored him and after I contacted him asking him to please leave my girlfriend and her mother (who he is obsessed with) alone, he created hate blogs as some sort of retaliation to spread more lies.

He told me to kill myself and even posted on public forums from his apartment in Portland that I would bring more to society if I were dead. The man wishes suicide upon people who want nothing to do with him. I've been in the United States Armed forces and have been a volunteer firefighter for over 10 years. I've seen and heard everything and I can take it. But there are people who cannot and Odegard wishing suicide on innocent people proves that he knows exactly what he is doing. I suspect Odegard has always been a trash talking bully hence why he is paranoid and believes he holds power to make someone really take their life. This hateful person is filled with so much negative energy, I really don't believe anyone respects him unless they are that same type of energy.

Michael Odegard is not a victim. He wants people to believe he is a victim because he has no one to blame for his lack of success. Look at his rants. He is a hateful, nasty man who is very negative and it is clear he hates the world and he hates his life. He blames people for that like most people who are like him do. We are not harassing him at all and everything he has said about me, my girlfriend Sarah Afshar, and anyone else he is attacking is not true at all.

Mike Boudet of Sword and Scale

Over a year ago, I was contacted by a man named Mike Boudet. Boudet is an independent podcaster and is known for his true crime podcast, Sword and Scale. He was interested in speaking with me about Toni Ingram. I went on his site when he contacted me and noticed that MayraMM (the woman who is stalking and harassing Toni Ingram and my girlfriend Sarah Afshar) was a regular contributor to the site, so immediately I just knew that if I were to be interviewed, my words would have been edited or changed.

Using my abilities, I saw a connection between him and Tricia Griffith, the administrator of Websleuths and of course, MayraMM (Mayra Martinez) the woman who has been stalking and harassing Toni Ingram and my girlfriend Sarah Afshar. I was able to pick up that Boudet was interested in ratings. In fact, after the podcast about Toni Ingram my girlfriend Sarah Afshar was uploaded (which is filled with nothing but lies) he started spamming the links on my tumblr, where I proceeded to defend my girlfriend from the lies and untruths of Michael Odegard of Portland.

As I sat at the computer, it dawned on me that he was a friend of Tricia Griffith's. I decided to channel to see what Griffith was doing and immediately was able to see her behind all of the lies, the slander, the libel, and everything else trying to discredit Toni Ingram and my girlfriend Sarah Afshar. I also see her as angry that Toni refused a second interview with her and even pissed that Toni didn't send over the evidence she has. Why would Toni? That evidence is sealed and locked for the CBI, not some woman who spends her life online spreading lies about innocent people. I was also able to see that Griffith had an agenda and even went so far to involve other people. One of them being Terri Stipp.

Then, I started to realize that Boudet is this same type of person. Someone who is angry, someone who - if he does not get his way and gets angry to the level of spite. I would say about a month later Boudet was libeling me, my girlfriend Sarah Afshar, and Toni Ingram referring to us as trolls who are behind network of hate sites. Hate sites? The guy was literally spreading propaganda simply because we didn't do the podcast. Then, he posted link to one of the sites directly on his Sword and Scale site. I looked at the one site he shared and there was no hate on there. I channeled and was able to see that one of Morgan's close friends, one that no one knows created the one site and the other was created by someone who has a daughter and wants justice for Morgan's murder.

Boudet went on to say that me and Sarah were harassing Michael Odegard. A few people defended us and were attacked by the crazy stalking hag from Oregon. Some people claim that Boudet never put their comments through. I mean, Boudet was presenting stuff that is not even true and stuff didn't involve Toni Ingram. They even referred to Odegard as mentally challenged man and we were harassing him, blah, blah. All lies. Boudet even added more lies to story by saying Odegard blogged about the Morgan Ingram case. This is a total lie. Odegard blogged about my girlfriend many times and even went on to spread horrible, untrue lies about her (which can be seen and heard here), right before posting that he felt upset she ignored him (and Odegard I have all of the screenshots you don't want anyone else to see of those comments along with the remarks you made about my girlfriend's vagina you sick piece of shit) The fact is, Odegard, the stalker from Portland never blogged about Toni Ingram or the Morgan Ingram case. This is just more lies and I have the evidence of this.

Mike Boudet of Sword and Scale is an accessory to the lies which makes him a liar and I am calling him out. It's disappointing because at first I was convinced Boudet really wanted to hear my side along with my girlfriend's side. Obviously he didn't. Shortly after he published these podcasts, he was promoting Tricia Griffith's radio show asking listener's to check it out. I also know Tricia Griffith of Websleuths is a jealous slob who hates my girlfriend because she interviewed Toni Ingram which is why she recruited Terri Stipp to create hate sites about both Toni and my girlfriend and anyone who supports Toni. Toni Ingram has a ton of evidence and as a psychic medium I was able to see everything that happened. She is not a liar and she is not crazy. She's telling the truth about what happened to her daughter, something that none of these people defending Keenan have yet to do.

Some things to look for when purchasing a BB Cream

When you think of a BB Cream you think that's for a woman right? Wrong!  Because there are many things that make up the BB Cream or Beauty Balm. Keyword and SEO Manipulation used by my stalker in Portland, Oregon

Hello everyone. How are you doing? So, today I get a call from an old friend of mine today who said they typed in my name and found all sorts of crazy stuff about me. Stuff that wasn't even true in relation to "that crazy guy from Portland that is accusing you and some Brian guy of stalking him" as my friend puts it.  What I found odd was when you type in Joseph Valo III or Joe Valo III or even Joseph Valo and Joe Valo, my stalker Michael Odegard's name comes up immediately. It also comes up as "Michael Odegard's Stalker Joseph Valo."

Then I did a search on my girlfriend Sarah Afshar's name and it shows the same thing except a crazy stalking hag from Eugene Oregon who has took it upon herself to libel my girlfriend. The same one who stalks and harasses Toni Ingram. Upon investigation, I did some research and discovered keyword manipulation. I contacted a few people and they told me that what Odegard is doing is basically Black Hat SEO. Then it says "Did you mean Michael Odegard Music?" This leads me to believe that Odegard and Mayra Martinez (MayraMM) had help from a third party source to manipulate the keywords. I typed in a few people's names and didn't find any connection, so I decided to channel. As a psychic medium, I do that when I can't find the answer to something. The first thing I saw was purple before seeing Sword and Scale, realizing that Mike Boudet was behind this. I, then googled Mike Boudet which allowed me to see he has experience with SEO and so forth.

I am not surprised since my girlfriend and I never did Boudet's podcast. Kind of disappointed because my girlfriend and I never once belittled him, even though he has told several people we have. At least that is what I am being told. I knew his connection to Tricia and could it see it over a year ago when he first contacted me, but overlooked it. Tricia Griffith of Websleuths the mastermind behind the libel, slander, and defamation of my girlfriend Sarah Afshar and Toni Ingram, the mother of Morgan Ingram. Boudet is behind the keyword manipulation and is helping Michael Odegard seek revenge against those people that he has stalked and harassed yet tried to say that we are the ones harassing him. Looking at everything though, it is only allowing people to see the truth about me and my girlfriend when anyone types in one of names and seeing how much of a liar Odegard is.

What concerns me most is Michael Coleman Odegard is making money from my name. We have a man who sells a story to the government to collect his monthly payment simply because he is unwell. It is very clear he does have Munchausen syndrome by internet. I am no psychologist, but it doesn't take one to know how unstable this man is. I also think he may have HPD, BPD, and possibly paranoid schizophrenia, as well. Again, not a psychologist. I actually have a few friends with mental illnesses who would never do what Odegard is doing. Odegard is filled with negative energy because no one would spitefully lie like he does.

The lies he has told are disgusting, especially about me and my girlfriend and I feel bad for anyone who believes what they are being told by this man. Don't believe what he is selling you. It was this podcast that riled him up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0nctMBJV5s and he's been trying to get it taken down ever since I did it. He is scared that people will know the truth about him. He created those sites with the intent to stalk and harass both my girlfriend and I because he was/is obsessed with my girlfriends mother and we have tons of proof. Odegard is playing the victim so he can get away with harassment. He's already threatened to kill me and I have tons of proof no matter how many denials he makes. He has a record in Portland and in Vancouver, Washington. He's been in and out of mental facilities. This is clearly someone who is not well and believes he has the right to spread horrible, untrue lies about other people because he is not well. What concerns me most is how a mentally unstable individual who is filled with so much hate for himself and the world is making money from my name, as well as, my girlfriend's name. Is Michael Odegard really cashing in on his lies and slander against me and my girlfriend, as well as, Brian Mann?

My interview with AJ Jung

A while ago, my girlfriend Sarah Afshar and I were contacted by a friend of Morgan Ingram's for an interview. His name is AJ Jung and he is the creator of the Keenan Vanginkel blog. He said that he was spammed some podcast about us and he said it was real libelous and you could tell the people that appeared on it were lying to try and discredit Toni Ingram and everyone who supports her. I'm gonna take a stab and guess it's the one with Mike Boudet which is filled with lies. I listened to it and it is all lies. What was real messed up was my stalker, the man from Portland and his 45 minute rant of fruit cake.

Jung knew it was all lies too. So that is when he wanted to hear our side of the story, so I gave him my number and we did a conference call. He asked us questions about Morgan Ingram and the people who are harassing us including Tricia Griffith of Websleuths and her friends Terri Stipp and Mayra Martinez along with Michael Odegard, the man from Portland who I never met. We were completely honest with Jung in this interview and left no stone turned. That is what you do when you tell the truth and everything I said in this interview is the truth.

Corroboration of Crazy: Michael Odegard

In recent months, I have had the pleasure of experiencing what it is like to be cyberstalked by someone I have never met in my life. And my cyberstalker is Michael Odegard from Portland, Oregon. The man has spread so many lies about me, my girlfriend, and basically anyone else he wants to blame for his lack of success on. I took the opportunity to defend myself, as well as, my girlfriend in a podcast.

Mr. Odegard called my phone many times in between late 2012 until mid 2014. After I made the podcast exposing this, they stopped. And although they continue, they are not as intimidating or scary. Rewinding back to 2014, I remember this one time, I actually decided to call one of the numbers back. The number lead to a Portland business called The Black Cat Café, which was then called Legends.

"Mr. Odegard is claiming that Brian Man and I Photoshop his picture"

 It dawned on me that something was weird, just not right when I called back.  The person who answered the phone was definitely him trying to pose as a manager. The person had Odegard's voice and even went on to say that he hasn't seen Odegard in months. Almost like Odegard intentionally called to get me to respond to his antics. After I called, I noticed that the libel grew more online and all of the phone calls just kept coming at a rapid rate. I would get more private and restricted calls, but when I would see records of my phone statements, they would show a Portland number calling me.

And clearly we are not!" 

Thanks to people who care about me and my well being, I was able to do a background check on the number. The number linked directly to Odegard, as it was his own personal number. I never called it or anything, but I made sure to block it in case the calls would persist.

Fast forward a few months, Michael Odegard took to blogger to create one of his infamous hate blogs. As you can see by the screenshots I am displaying, you can get an idea of what I have had to endure (and still continue to endure) from this very crazy and unhinged man from Portland. The sad thing is, this man cannot be reasoned with because he has no conscious.

Odegard harassed my girlfriend Sarah for years because he had an obsession with Sarah's mother. You see, Sarah's mom went into a movie chatroom on MSN where she befriended Odegard. After discovering Odegard wasn't someone she was interested in communicating with, she cut all strings with him. When I contacted him in late 2012 on Facebook asking him to cut his losses in move on, it set him off and I have been a target of his obsession ever since.

The truth is: I never met Brian Mann. I have never been to Portland. Hell, I have never been to the state of Oregon. I don't deserve this. No one does. I really wish Odegard would see that he is wasting his time and life harassing me and other innocent people and the truth is, I never did anything to this guy.

Happy National Girlfriend Day!

Hey everyone. How are you? I didn't realize it was 'National Girlfriend Day' until I saw the trend #NationalGirlfriendDay on Twitter. I have to tell you, I have been blessed with the most breathtakingly beautiful, classy, loving, and caring woman in the universe. Her name is Sarah Afshar. You see, Sarah and I began our journey together 18 years ago. We met through mutual friends and hit it off instantly. After we went our separate ways, my life took a turn for the worse. I basically became a person that I knew I was not and just left myself go. Fast forward to about 15 years later, we decided that we not only thought we were soulmates, but knew it too, so we got back together.

The thing with Sarah is that our love, connection, bond, and everything else has grown extremely strong. We have something that I know many couples do not have. It is something so undying, true , pure and never ending. We have seen our fair shares of ups and downs, our highs and lows, and the greatest and not so great moments as well. To me, Sarah is more than just my best friend and lover, but my soul mate and everything else in between.

Every time I gaze in to Sarah's gorgeous chocolate diamond eyes, I am reminded of what I have and how lucky I am. Sarah puts me under you hypnotic spell and I get lost for weeks on end. We make the most perfect team and as a couple we bring out the greatness in each other, in every way possible.

There is never a moment that I don't think of Sarah because she is my love of my life. When I think of the girls I have dated in my past, looking back, I had no connection to them and never had any motivation or inspiration to do anything. I remember years ago, I took a girl on a date to McDonalds. I never tried because there was no connection and it was deja vu, especially when I lived in Texas.

With Sarah, it is the opposite. She is the epitome of what I want in a woman. She's perfect and to me, she is the total package. She gives me motivation and inspiration, and quite frankly, she brings out the greatness in me in every way possible. 

I just want to say this: Sarah Afshar, you are the greatest woman to ever come into my life, as you are the greatest person to enter it and I am very blessed, honored, thankful, and lucky to have you. I love you, Sarah Afshar <3 Happy National Girlfriend Day!

My stalker Michael Odegard just keeps on spewing more lies!

Michael Odegard is now messaging random people on Facebook saying that I am stalking him and there is a warrant out for my arrest. This man is mentally sick and an evident liar. Everything he has said is not true. I don't even live in Portland (never been there, as I have never been to the state of Oregon) and this guy still continues to lie about me and other people. I think it is official I have a cyberstalker and his name is Michael Coleman Odegard.

Question of the Day: What is the name of your new band?

Q: I read on Facebook that you stared a new band with Sarah Afshar. I've heard Sarah sing and she sounds like Etta James and has a completely different sound to the lead singer of Gods and Aliens who sounds kind of like Josh Todd. My question for you Joe is, what is the name of your new band and what is the sound like? Is it similar to GnA?

Hi. The name of the band is Unchained Echo and as of right now, it's more of a dynamic duo, so it isn't a band, but I guess can be considered one since there is more than just one person. It is completely different. Unchained Echo is a combination of several different things. A little bit of rock, a little bit of soul, some industrial, some blues, some trance, and more. Gods and Aliens is more of a classic rock, coverage, bar friendly kind of band. Unchained Echo is nothing like you have heard. It's more innovative, more modern, and mixes several genres and uses more than just a guitar and a set of drums. We released a demo song called "Golpari" which was composed, written, performed, and produced by us and it gained attention by several of our fans from Iran during the Persian New Year, Norooz. We are hoping to re-record this tune in a studio soon along with our other originals. Unchained Echo is nothing that you have heard before. I think most people will love us, but there will be a few that will hate us which is good because it is better than being boring. We are working on some real cool stuff right now so stay tuned for that. Thanks for your question.

Question of the Day: Who is your celebrity crush?

Q: Joe, I am curious. I read on a website that you had a crush on Kate Upton. Is this true? Who is your celebrity crush?

Honestly, that is not true. Someone is either impersonating me or just assuming that. I think Kate Upton is very average looking. I really don't have a crush right now because I am with the most beautiful woman in the world. Before I was with Sarah though, my crush was Kim Kardashian and it is because she reminded me a lot of Sarah. The Kim Kardashian 4-5 years ago was very attractive. I remember being at the gym at the fire department in McKees Rocks working out and the Keeping Up With The Kardashian show came on TV. My first thought was "is that Sarah?" when I first saw Kim. I have to admit, I have a thing for Middle Eastern women. I will say this. although I have blue eyes, I am not into women with light eyes. Just isn't my thing. Persian women are the hottest and I have always leaned towards the big, dark exotic eyes. I also love women who are short and curvy and have weight in all of the right places. Sarah is everything I want, need, and desire in a woman. She is not only strikingly stunning, but she's intelligent, classy, compassionate, and very talented too. She always puts others before her and always loves helping other people. She helped me many times including in recent years when I was at my lowest. I have never met a woman with such determination, spirit, and fire like my girlfriend. I have known Sarah for 18 years and in my 37 years of living, I have never met a woman at all like her.

Question of the Day: How do you know Michael Odegard?

Q: Hi Joe. My name is Emily. I was listening to the Sword & Scale podcast and a man by the name of Michael Odegard came on. I really didn't see his connection to the entire Toni Ingram saga, so I thought it was just weird. I know that Mike tried to interview you for the podcast. I have to ask, how do you know Michael Odegard? How does your girlfriend Sarah Afshar know him?

Hello Emily. Thanks for the question. Michael Odegard has no connection to Toni Ingram or anyone for that matter. He simply wanted his 15 minutes of fame to blame his lack of success on my girlfriend and others who simply ignore his lunacy. I put out the podcast with actual proof, evidence that he was the one cyberstalking and bullying my girlfriend and me for defending her.

My girlfriend has no clue who Michael Odegard is. She has never talked to him. He has, however, talked to her mother. When her mother was single, her mother recently told both Sarah and I that she did talk to him in a Star Wars chatroom back in 2002. They were friends for only a few months. After noticing Odegard's outre behavior, she stopped talking to him completely that same year and cut all ties with the man completely. Everything he said on the podcast about Sarah is a boldface lie, as everything he has said about me is a lie. I never met the guy in my life. The only thing I am guilty of is defending myself from his allegations against me and my girlfriend.

I have no idea how he even made the connection that I am conspiring with Brian Mann to ruin his life. Like I said previously, the man is blaming his failures on me and anyone who speaks out against him. I never met Brian Mann in my life. I didn't even know who he was until Odegard tried to perpetuate the idea that we are both part of some plan to ruin his life. I never talked to the guy. I filed several police reports against Odegard for harassment. I allowed the police to listen to the voicemails that I received from his phone number along with various from Portland including the state hospital. Odegard visits mental health on a regular basis and has bragged about how he would come up with multiple syndromes using people's names including my name and my girlfriend Sarah Afshar's name. With that said, the police attempted to call the Portland police and the Portland police said they could not find Odegard at the address on file.

Michael Odegard has made hate blogs about me and tried to connect me to Brian Mann. I have never been to Portland at all, let alone the state of Oregon. He claims that I have stalked him when we both were in high school. Michael Odegard is in his 40s. I just turned 37 last month. How on earth could we be in the same grade unless he flunked several? The man graduated in the early 90s and there is record he started PSU when I was still in high school. In fact, I graduated in the mid-to-late 90s. The ideas this guy comes up with to lie and discredit people is as sinister as his political rants against police and Republicans. I think if you put a gun in this guy's hand, you are looking at the next Michael Meyers. With that said, everything Odegard said about me is not true and I have no clue who this guy is.

As for appearing on Sword & Scale, both of us have been busy with a lot and by the time we were interested, the podcast was already published. I know that Boudet has made some contact since, but we haven't been in communication with him. To be honest, when we were first approached about it, we really didn't know what to think because there is still no justice for Morgan Ingram or her family. We both want to appear on Sword & Scale because what Mayra and Odegard said is untrue and we want Boudet to hear our side of the story. We really have no opinion of Boudet. We know he is good as what he does and is all about the ratings, so we are hoping in the future Boudet will give us a chance to hear our side of the story.

My lowest in life.

Hello everyone. How are you? It's been a while since I wrote a blog that had some meaning, some substance. Well, tonightI am going to do just that. I have had my highs and my lows in life, but several years ago I really hit rock bottom when I joined a band called Gods n Aliens. How everything came about was, when I was searching for places to play in the area open mic, I discovered this local joint called the Revolutionaries Café. The place was pretty much a dive, but it was something to do when I wasn't working making endless subs at the local sub shop just down the road.

When I played open mic, I filled in occasionally for different musical acts that would frequent this place. As time went on, I was approached by the co-owner of this place to become a bass player of the band. I jumped at the opportunity. After all, I love being on stage. There is something gratifying about playing for other people and what else can I say? I love music and any opportunity involving music is an opportunity that interests me.

In 2011, is when I met Andy. Andy was a suave, stern, artistic guy. Sort of a free spirit, he was really nice in the beginning. He persuaded me to take the opportunity. I also met Guy. The guy's name is Guy and he was the guitar player. He was a true talent. Kind of a classic guitar player who was all about the music. These two men made me believe that the band was going somewhere and that the opportunity was just getting started. So, what did I do? I took the opportunity because I loved playing on stage.

I noticed some minor things, but overlooked them because I wanted to be a part of something great. As time went on, one of the band members ended up getting addicted to drugs. Not just any, but heroin and I witnessed a lot of highs and lows with him. He didn't last long, but he ended up getting help and decided to come back. We went on tour, but it was a joke because we were broke. The money we did have was minimal, so there was a budget. At the time, I was smoking cigarettes and eating enough for 10 people, so this wasn't a good lifestyle for me. During the tour, I was falsely accused of taking money that I never took. I was ganged up on. I was pretty much the guy everyone bullied. The fill out drummer actually came to me and told me that I should quit because music isn't for everyone and I wasn't doing anything to help the band. Nice guy right? The guy was a has been in his 50s, so his words of wisdom really meant nothing and still doesn't. I am only sharing it because it's part of the story. Lol.

The tour was a nightmare, but I put up with it because at the time I had no money, barely any friends (except people far far away), and I knew no one in Georgia. I cut ties from those that mattered. After begging my mother for money, she couldn't lend me any because she didn't have it, I just gave up on myself and just went with it. I put up with being bullied simply because I was too weak and didn't care about myself to even give in to what was happening. I was always being insulted. My band members never cared either. They knew I was at my lowest, but they never helped me. Why is that? Fast forward a few months, I ended up making terrible choices. I hooked up with a bar hag who stalks me still to this day, I ripped my pants and everything was hanging out. No one said anything to me, but laughed that I was humiliating myself. I was the punchline to their jokes. And when they would compliment me, they would follow with an insult. The lead singer did this to me often. I drank so much that I shit myself on stage. You would think that these band members who claim they care would actually help me out of this mess? Well, they didn't.

Last night I was bombarded with messages that I am being attacked again. In fact, here is the screenshot that was sent to me:

This picture is going around. It's going around the internet because one of the band members decided to take a dip at me for no reason at all. I guess he believes I am still the same person in the photo, which is sad. This was taken in 2012 and I was at my lowest, as you can kind of tell by the image. I mean, look at me? That is a person in need of help. I will admit, I lead a lifestyle that I would wish on no one. On top of drinking a 30 pack of beer a day, I was taking 50 mg of Trazadone and 40 mg of Paxil. Instead of feeling happy, I was depressed. I had no job and really no motivation at all. In the picture, I look like a nightmare. Why? Because I was living one. I was living a nightmare. I did not care about myself or my life at. So, in early 2013, I attempted suicide. I did not succeed. I overdosed on pills. I thought it would solve everything and I just thought the world would be better without me. I had no purpose. As I cried myself into oblivion praying to God that if someone loved me, they would help me, that is when Sarah Afshar came back into my life.

You see, at this time, Sarah and I were just friends. We connected in 2011, but we spoke sporadically because of the distance between us. At the time, Sarah was living in Dillon, MT and I was at in McKees Rocks, PA. We talked about getting back together for years, but she always sort of shot me down and told me she just wanted to be friends because she was too busy for a relationship. When Sarah contacted me, it was as if God answered my prayers. Sarah is seriously an angel in disguise. Why? Because she saved my life.

As I confided into her about what was going on, she told me the truth. She also gave me an ultimatum which literally saved my life. She said "Joe, it is either them or me?" That is when I realized there is just no way I would ever choose anyone over Sarah, so I did what any man would do and took her advice. When I didn't look back at those people, cut them out of my life, and not even thought twice about living that lifestyle again, I could feel myself changing. The change was real. I had more motivation and on top of that, I had direction. The good kind, not the bad kind. Instead of having direction towards the local bar, I had direction to better my life. I was unemployed and ended up getting and working a stable, full-time job where I helped other people. I met new friends, as well. It is a great feeling and I am loving how my life has turned out.

In the end, Sarah is the reason why I am at my highest and it is because of her, I realize who I am as a person and my worth. In the end, I am worth something and the changes I made are real. When I look at the picture above, I can't believe I ever let myself go, but I don't see myself as that person in the picture anymore. The point I am making is, if you are at your lowest and feel like giving up on your life, just remember there is always someone out there that will give you that motivation, that little helping hand of tough love to get you going. That angel in disguise will also push you in the direction you are meant to go.

In this case, my angel is Sarah Afshar. Sarah, I cannot say thank you enough. I love you more than you know. I do believe Sarah is responsible for my change, but I will say that I changed my life for the better and as for those people from my past who continue to talk about me and belittle me for being depressed and at my lowest, I am living in the present. The Joe Valo 3, 4, and even 5 years ago is not the same Joe Valo now. I am happy and I am living my life. If I can do it, you can too.
